Details

Chateau Hosanna 2010 is a rich and intense wine, with a deep ruby-red color and purple hues. The nose is complex and powerful, offering an array of aromas, such as ripe black cherry, cassis, and blackberry, combined with hints of licorice, vanilla, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with a velvety, silky texture and a remarkable balance between ripe fruit and firm tannins. The flavors of dark fruit, coffee, and dark chocolate are intertwined, leading to a long and lingering finish with a touch of minerality. This is an outstanding Pomerol with excellent aging potential, showcasing the best of the 2010 vintage

Robert Parker - 96 Points

"Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Hosanna gives up baked black cherries, dried mulberries and fruitcake scents with hints of fragrant earth, baking spices and dried roses. Full-bodied, the palate has impressive freshness and lovely, ripe, plush tannins supporting the spicy fruit, finishing with great length."

Antonio Galloni - 91 Points

"The 2010 Hosanna shows much more ripeness on the nose compared to its peers, more red fruit with perfumed cherries and bergamot tea aromas, rose petal and sage. The palate is silky smooth with what feels like a fair proportion of Cabernet Franc. It does not quite kick on towards the somewhat oaky finish, though this is very seductive. Unlike other Pomerols, you could broach this now. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal. "
